•Accepting Jesus and His righteousness

•Living by God’s will, choosing to live righteous with the Holy Spirit’s guiding

•How does Jesus’ righteousness become ours?

•2 Cor 5.18-21 reconciling the world

•God imputed (transferred) Jesus’ righteousness to us legally

•Forgives our debt

•When Satan questions our salvation, the breastplate protects our minds

•How does imputed righteousness gives us the power to live a righteous life?

•Born again – power to connect with God

•Gal 5.16-18  imparted righteousness – being born again gives us power to overcome

•Gal 5.22-23 imparted( to pass on, transmit, or bestow) the fruit of the Spirit to live more like Christ

•Through Christ God has imputed righteousness to man
