What's Up in The Garden?

We're Growing!

Plants are in and growing! This year, we've planted a limited selection of squash, zucchini, cucumbers and tomatoes. You can get involved by helping with tending and harvesting, or by praying with us that God will use this project to help us connect with our community and share the story of Jesus with those we encounter. Scroll down for more info on upcoming events at The Garden.

New website launch, June 25!

Our site is brand new and we are excited to update it with our upcoming events! Check back over the next few days to see what is coming up on our calendar!

Our Story

The garden began in 2022 with a few seeds, just to allow some local elementary school classrooms to see the growth cycle of plants.

As teachers, students and community members got excited about the space, we realized this was a great opportunity to connect with the people in our neighborhood.

In 2023, we plowed the whole field and planted our first, big garden. Throughout the summer, we gave away vegetables on the weekends, hosted classes on canning and preserving our harvest, and worked together to find the best way to serve those around us.

This year, we will be limiting our crop to high-yield, popular vegetables, so we can focus on having the best produce to share with new friends. We will also be expanding our classes for canning and preserving.
